So , what can i say... I LOVE IBIZA!!!!
We had the best time in the end.. once we got over the language barrier, and we became familiar with our surroundings,, we had the most amazing time.
We hired a moped off an awsome company called Cooltra, which were based in Playa Den Bossa.. and from there we met two awsome people, who gave us info on all the awsome places to go to and the best beaches to visit..
Without them, our holiday would have been verry different....
Our angry box ( our hotel room ) became less angry as time went on , and bottles of vodka always helped with that... and at 7euro a bottle, who could complain with that??
We tried to visit all the places of the movie Kevin and Perry... and found all the Vego cafes around the island.. Incl the most amazing eco village, which we visited on the sunday, and had the most beautiful feed or organic food for 6Euros..... It was the best day ever!
Our diet consisted of cheese, ruffles chips, vodka and apple juice, corn flakes w milk, chocolate and german MTV..lol
Next year when we go back , we think we will stay 1 week in town and then do 1 week out in a resort... and def hire a moped again... as without your own transport you just cant get around Ibiza...
I fell in love with a place called Blue Marlin, which is a beach side bar... its the most beautiful place and we really want to go to one of the Blue moon or full moon parties that they have there next year... prolly late Sept, as according to all the locals, that is the best time to go.... for all the closing parties :) and all the youngsters have gone back to school from the UK.
The place that we were staying was the gay part of Ibiza... which we found out later on in our stay.. ( we were wondering why the boys kept looking at Joe ) hehehehe..
If you like your wheat and meat , then Ibiza is the place for you.... the food was just amazing... it was such a tease for me window shopping at all the amazing food... and my vegatarianism was severly tested here.....
Our fave beaches were, Sa caleta , Cala des jondal and benirras - the kevin and perry beach
Ibiza is a must see, however... dont go in the off season and its better if you go with someone who knows their way round..
