Our first stop was the gastronomical capital of Italy, Bologna. This is the home of Bolognese and Lasagne, and the fresh food markets held daily in the centre of town are a real highlight. There are also loads of gorgeous historical monuments including anchient churches adorned with beautiful art, and the twin towers which are an icon of the city.
Food, culture, history and beauty.
