So we arrived at T5 in London ready for the trip of a lifetime. T5 looks amazing it is supposedly the easy way to travel. We checked our bags in got through security everything was going fine and then we got on the plane. We were supposedly taking off at 10 am the wrong bags were put on the plane and after 3 and a half hours of waiting we were assured all the correct bags were now on and we were ready for a trip. Low and behold we get to LA and we are advised that only 50% of the bags had made it accross the pond and the other half were somewhere else. Mine was ok nicks unfortunately was not. At this point we have been told that the chances are his bag wont turn up ad he will have to uy everything again. After that minor hiccup we were off to our hostel in LA!

We arrived at the hostel, the last building beofre Venice beach, amaxing location we went out for a beer and a burger and then crashed into bed at 9:30 US time about 5:30 English time. It had been a very long day.

Friday we woke up early as we were jet lagged and explored the beach. We walked to Santa Monica and saw the muscle beach where all the stacked men work out. We headed into town to have some brunch with Nicks cousin and then headed to downtown LA where we caught a train to San Diego where we are staying with Nicks Uncle. We had a few beers and then a few more and by that time it was too late for us to realise the beer was 9% cue a headache this morning. Today where going to go for a ride around the beach and drives Nicks uncles sports car around san Diego as we are both insured on it! Anyway we are both about to go surfing down on the beach so I will write again soon to give you an update.

Love to you all

xx
