hey
we have now made it to singapore after our 7 hour bus from KL.
yesterday we got up early, to go queue for Petrona Twin tower tickets, which are free but you have to go in the morning get the tickets and a time slot them come back. so our slot was 2.45pm, so we had a walk around the temple then got the monorail to times square where we had some dinner and did a bit of shopping, found a top shop (was the worlds smallest topshop) but we still managed to spend about an hour in there and bout a few new items for oz.
by then it was time to go back to the towers, so we jumped back on the monorail! when we got there we watched a short video about the history of the towers, the got took up in the high speed lift to the 42 floor to the sky bridge (88 floors in total). it was abit of a cloudy day, but we could see all across the city from up on the bridge.
we then headed back to the hotel to freshen up, then was off to the cinema to see the new james bond film, as it all toms gone on about for the last month!!
we then had another early morning to day to get our bus down to singapore. so got three days here, planning to explore the city tomorw then got to the day and night zoo on tues.
we are both looking forward to going to oz on wednesday, hopefully be able to update you with some pics of singapore before we get to oz.
