Christchurch, New Zealand

hey.

just a quick note to let you all know we have arrived in new zealand.

we set off from our hostel in melbourne at 5am, after saying our goodbyes to hazel and luke, we got a taxi to the airport to get our 7am flight to sydney. our flight from melbourne set off 20 mins late so by the time we arrived in sydney we had 50 mins to got off the plane change terninals and jump back on to the christchurch flight. luckly we just made it in time, however, we were worried about the lack of time sydney airport had to transfer our backs from our melbourne flight at terminal 3 to our christchurch flight in terminal 1, in just 50 mins. and we were right to be worried as we arrived in christchurch at 2pm (new zealand is 13 hours ahead of the uk) we waited for nearly an hour for our bags but they never came. luckly sydney had arranged for our bags to be put on the next plane out of there. which arrived in christchurch at 5.30pm. so we had a fun afternoon waiting in the airport for them. - so have learnt a lesson never to get a closly linked connection, as so many peoples bags from our plane went missing and they will not get them for days.

any ways once in chirstchurch we had a look around and it very much like an english town , but nice. we spending two days here before movingon.

hope everyone ok

love kelly and tomxxx
