We arrived in Auckland at 7:00 on sunday morning after a 12hour flight from LAX! after being incredibly polite to the guy at the check in desk he put us in the best seats in economy which was brilliant. as we were flying into auckland at 5:30 the sun was rising and the view was pretty amazing.
At the airport we were picked up by Charles's friends Peter, Elizabeth and William it was great to see some friendly faces after such a long fight! im writing this sitting in their lounge looking out over the Tasman as the sun is setting and we are just about to watch a flim on their massive projector (i hope you guys are enjoying the rain in england) New Zealand is stunning, amazing!! its just unbelievable, the photos dont do it justice, you have to see it to believe it! Pete, Elizabeth and William have been really great to us and i cant thank them enough. the home cooking has been particularly good! and they were kind enough to show us round Auckland today. We went up the sky tower and got some amazing photos then we went to mission bay and had fish and chips on the beach!
New Zealand has been breathtaking and we are only on the 2nd day! staying at Peter's, Elizabeth's and Will's has been so relaxing after the insanity of LA!
