This morning we visited Edfu Temple (aka the Temple of Horus). Being built well above the Nile it is amazingly well preserved. The temple is dedicated to Horus and he features prominently throughout the ruins. The most interesting aspect was towards the end of the structure- a detailed inscription of Horus' victory over Seth (in hippo form). Once we returned to the boat I spent the rest of the afternoon taking a nap, sun bathing and having a swim. After dinner we saw another belly dancer show and Turkish spinner. Afterwards we drank and played cards till about 300.
