Photograph from Christchurch

Short review

Christchurch is the size of a small provincial town and you can literally see the CBD within two hours of walking round. There is a tram which you can take but it does a 30 min circuit of the central area and the circuit is hardly full of "sights" Theres a couple of galleries and museams but they arent worth the entrance fee. The botanical gardens are nice and worth a couple of hours (and a picnic) you can also take a punt down the river if the weather permits. All in all a day and a half will cover Christchurch spend the rest of your time getting out of the place to something more interesting instead!!
