Famous for its wine we instantly loved this city! Placed next to the Andes in a desert the views are spectacular.... everywhere you look! We stayed at a cool little hostel called Chimbas which was like staying with your mates for 4days, great hostel and cool people, booking a wine tour for the following day was essential and there are 1200 wineries to visit....we only managed 2!!. Now.... when the wine is as cheap as a pound a bottle it was fairly obvious the first night would involve a lot of it!! We basically started our wine tour the night before and when it was time for the real tour the last thing we wanted to see, smell or taste was wine! However it was a great day, allowing us to appreciate the wine we drank last night!!The city is full of universities with a cool vibe, we staggered one day to the massive park in the middle of this desert on the way finding an icecream shop with the biggest icecreams man has ever seen!! Obviously more wine was tasted etc etc and then we found ourselves on a coach to Santiago......
Po 17. hod jizdy prolezene v kozenych sedackach a sledovanim nekolika kvalitnich filmu vystupujeme ve meste Mendoza. Oblast proslula svym bohatym odvetvim vin, olivoveho oleje a cokolady! Takze vlastne nasi povinnosti bylo pit vino a jist olivy. Stalo se tomu tak hned prvni vecer kdy jsme nezapomneli mixovat bile s cervenym a nasledne rano jsme litovali ze uz mame zaplaceny vylet do vinohradu, tovarny na olivovy olej a samozrejme nejednu ochutnavku vina! Jako vzdy s nasim stestim se cela vyletni sestava skladala z osob postarsiho veku, takze o srandu bylo postarano. Jinak sledovani postupu vyroby vina byla velmi zajimava zkusenost (jedno z mych maturitnich temat/o postupu nevim nic, jen o konzumaci ), taktez ochutnavka a nam se nakonec tento den velmi zdaril! Mendoza je velke univerzitni mesto a je umistena uprostred pouste. Puda je tu velice sucha a prostredi je proste usite na miru pro pestovani vin. Take jsme navstivili obrovsky park, kde jsme mohli relaxovat po vsech tech pijackych akcich..
V Mendoze se nam moc libilo..mozna i tim ze zde muzete nalezt 1.200 vinarstvi.., a doufame ze se jednou vratime zpet!!
