We stayed in La Casa de Don Jaime. Was a good chilled hostel with really friendly staff. There was a choice of dorms or twin / double rooms. We paid 40 pesos each for a double. Bathrooms were shared - a little small but clean and good hot water. Breakfast included - croissants, toast, fruit and tea / coffee. We arrived early and they let us check in a bit before 12 which was good. Free internt (only one comupter). They have a bar and opens as a public bar in the evenings. We cooked and their kitchen was very small but fine. All in all a very good hostel.

I really wouldn´t bother going to Resistencia. There aren´t that many hostels to choose from (obviously because tourism isn´t a big trade there) and from our experience, hardly any of the museums were open and other than them there´s nothing else to do there. WE stayed in Resistencia Bariloche - 90 Pesos for a double room. The bathroom was large and clean but that was the only plus. The room was quite small and rundown and breakfast wasn´t included. It was close to the centre of town though.
