Sanur, Indonesia

AAAAAAHHHHH, it's too hot here! 40 degrees is way past my comfort temperature zone. We're in Bali now, after a one day stop in Singapore to buy electrics (I got a 6GB MP4 player for 60 quid and Ant got loads of electric massage gear, electromagnetic bracelets and a DVD player). We also stopped at the National Museum which was well worth the stop - it is the most modern and easy to view museum I've ever seen. You walk up to any item and choose that number on the personal electric audio guide and it plays only what you want to know about. It was also quite hot there. We stayed in the part called Little India which was like a mini Southall, so I felt right at home and walked around inside the shops to get that familiar soices and curry smell that fills the air of Southall (and my mums house)....it brought me back home for a bit. The food is ok in Singapore, but not nearly as nice as Thai food. The late flight to Bali meant that we got here at a ridiculous time and we checked in to a very posh hotel in a place called Sanur Beach where we stayed for two nights. We hired a car and are on a road trip again, though we haven't got a clue where we're going - the general direction so far is towards Kuta. Ant's just stopped to get a haircut so I thought I'd take the opportunity to write to my fans. Apart from the heat, the touristic area we are in now in Bali is very touristic so we'll be glad to be driving away in the next few days. Oh yeah - everything here is alot cheaper than Singapore so we 'll be doing quite a bit here for the next few weeks. Valentines Day was lovely - we went to a spa and had a whole 2.5 hr treatment including an essential oil Balinese massage which was amazing and warm bath with petals and body scrub, milk rub and jacuzzi, sauna etc. Very nice. Then we stuffed ourselves with chocolate to get those toxins back in us. Lots of love, Resh xxx
