Morgan goes to Europe

Florence, Italy

Today was a good day to rest. We went to the De Medici Chapel and Duomo Museum. The De Medici Chapel had a lot of sculptures by Michelangelo that were really neat. The Duomo had Donatello's Mary Magdelene, which was really detailed and one of the best sculptures I've seen so far. After, we went to a fruit and meat market and walked around it for a while. I got the best apple I've ever had, which was a good change of pace from kbobs, pizza, and ham and cheese sandwiches. They had a lot of wierd stuff, like whole pigs, whole chickens, and chicken necks (with heads). It is so exhausting walking around all day every day and having class at 8 AM, so we went back and I took almost a 4 hour nap. It's been good having free internet here, hopefully I will in Rome tomorrow. We leave at 8 am, and get to stop at Pisa on the way, which should be neat. I can't wait to see the Colleseum and everything else Rome has to offer, it should be really cool. It will also be good to be by the beach. Tonight we're hiking up the hill overlooking Florence, it should be fun. I miss everybody, it's been great being able to talk to some of you on the internet and all. Thanks for the messages also.
