Hi from Hoi An, we've been here for the last couple of days after the dreaded night bus- which to be honest wasn't too bad in the end. The four of us got quite cosy on the back seats together-think Graham and Justin know each other quite well now!! Hoi An is a really beautiful town, the shopping here is unreal. The streets are lined with hundreds of tailors where you can choose any material in any design from suits, coats, party dresses even shoes. They have the Next catalouges and gossip magazines to choose a style from. We loved the Celeb lifestyle being pinned and sewn into our new clothing a world away from the dirty, creased contents of our rucksacks! Yesterday we cycled to the local beach which although is beautiful its unbearably hot here at the moment so we spend most the time seeking out air con and cold beers - I guess life could be worse!! Because of the humidity we have had a few thunder storms and yesterday the whole town flooded in about an hour, never seen rain like it. The narrow streets were almost rivers and hotel reception was a soggy mess- luckily we are on the top floor! Have really enjoyed it here the best part is at night when the streets and river front are lit up by coloured lights and lanterns, i think the boys are getting quite fed up with Ruth and my photo stops!!
