Its been great to be on coast for a few days. Beaches are gorgeous, weather overcast but very hot still. Met up with Ruth and Justin for lunch time beers, pool, Ping Pong tournament and a banana boat ride. Must have been hilarious for everyone watching, as we spent 20 minutes trying to battle the waves before the boat even started! Following day the sun was out so we went on a boat trip to a paradise island about an hour off the coast, what a white knuckle ride! Never seen such rough sea and the waves were about an inch from crashing into our boat. Katie was sure we were going to capsize and decided that all that mattered was saving herself and the camera! Bamboo Island was worth it though with white sands, clear water and almost deserted. That night we drank too many vodka buckets, shots and beers, especially considering the next morning we had a 4 hour bus ride to Phnom Penh! But a good night was had by all :-)
