Hey all - Quick update

I went to Canberra at the weekend. it was really good. I stayed with Dinah, her daughter and family. We went out the their farm (300 acres of land) and saw the sheep and cows. Then had Roast Lamb (from their farm) with was really yummy.

On Sunday I went to pony club, and then watch Slumdog Millionaire. I killed my first spider, it was in the shower and pretty massive. Used this spray but had it at the wrong angle, so i teased the spider with death for quite a while until i realised what i needed to do. Once dead, tried to get out the shower with a shoe but this just ended up taking a couple of legs off. so used toilet roll and tried to flush it down the loo - it didn't work. so had to get it out the toilet. NIGHTMARE!

Shower was good though - in the end.

On Monday I got the bus back to Sydney, and then made my way over to Watsons Bay where I was going to stay with a couple for a few days. I had my own room at the bottom of their garden. it was so good. it had its own little shower room too! Was great not to be in a hostel for a couple of days.

I took a wander down to the front, and had a glass on wine in the pub, read my book etc.

Tuesday - met Steven from old hostel, had lunch at The Rocks, and then went to the Art Museum, and watched this amazing street performance! he was so good. he summersaulted over 5 people, and landed on the other side of them! it was great.

Watched Choir of Hard Knocks in the evening - about a man who set up a choir in melbourne of homeless, drug addicts, etc - it was really good. how people managed to get their lives back on track and how successful the choir became (they got asked to sing at Sydney Opera House)

Wednesday - I went for a walk with Bruce and Louise up to South Head, and then got a bus to Bondi (I had seen a Wheat and Gluten Free Pizza place) eventually managed to find it, but it wasnt open so went back to one louise suggested! I had a gluten free burger followed by gluten free chocolate Brownie! YUM

Made my way to Luna Park - a fun fair - on my own, which i thought was very brave of me. i got this pass that let you have unlimited go's on all the rides, so i felt i had to go on EVERY ride! by the end of it i felt VERY sick!

Thursday - went with Louise and Bruce to this old house - really beautiful but i can't remember the name, where we had morning tea. Got a lift back and here i am. I am getting the ferry to Circular Quay and then from there to Manly where i will be staying with Naomi tonight.

Probably wont have time to do this for a while as my safari starts on saturday but here is the link of what i will be doing
