Hello everyone,
I've made it to Cambodia! Arrived in Phnom Penh last night and will be leaving again tomorrow morning, in direction of Siem Reap to see the mighty Angkor Wat. Had a massive day of sightseeing today, saw the main sights of the city, along with the killing fields and the genocide museum.
Cambodia is certainly a huge culture shock after relatively affluent Vietnam. I keep wondering whether Cambodia is as poor or even poorer than Nepal. The people seem very friendly though and the traffic is an oasis of quiet compared to what I've been used to.
Am getting a bit tired of all the things to see and do, so will try and schedule a day off soon. There's only so much one person can see ;o)
Hope you're all well,
lots of love
