Hola!!
Ok so day 3 in good old bacelona was awesome!! Had a nice sleep in after our late night and set off on a sightseeing adventure. We started off with la sagrada familia....was awesome. Really impressive...but it was really hard to get a photo of it because of all the busses pulling up in front of it. However we did manage a few good ones we must say. We got there by metro....pretty good system i have to say. Pretty hot down in the underground passageways but the trains are very air conditioned. After la sagrada familia we went and saw another of the gaudi works - Casa Battlo. Again really impressive and a great photo opportunity. Had a bit of touble finding it but this really friendly spanish guy working in a street kiosk helped us out (and he fixed our map for us haha cos the wind had ripped it to pieces.)
Our next stop was placa espanya - pretty cool square. Had no idea what the statues and awesome palace looking building was but took pictures of it all the same as it was so nice to look at. Had some lunch (our pathetic and cheap jam sandwiches) and then headed off to investigate Barcelona Saints train station to try and make a reservation to Valencia for tomorrow. Didnt have a clue what was going on -nobody spoke good enough english to understand us so we decided to leave it and make the most of the sun and deal with it tomorrow. Hahaha this could bite us in the bum tomorrow but oh well. The sun was just awesome today.
Next stop was Barcelona FC stadium "camp nou". That was a bit dissapointing because unless u pay for a tour its kinda ugly on the outside. But hey at least we saw the surrounding area and had a stroll.
Hmm we didnt really do too much else....just kinda wandered again. Was good fun though...and the sunny weather was oh so lovely.
Off for another spanish siesta...bit later than usual and we are really feeling it. Just gotta find some accomodation in valencia now.
Hope everyone is loving melbourne or london...or wherever else in the world you may currently be. This is probably the last entry from barcelona so one last time COME HERE ITS AWESOME!!!!!
