Yo

I am now the proud owner of a blue 1996 toyota starlet, my first ever car - not bad for a 34 year old! Should be collecting tomorrow after work, Rich just organising my insurance for me. Need suggestions for names...any thoughts? I think she's a girl.

Oh my god! Thats bloody fantastic! (Can I swear on this message board? - lets find out shall we)

This sounds like a much better offer all round. How exciting! You know how to spin a yarn though I can tell you! Maybe you could write thrillers in the evening after work!

Conratulations you two - this is fantastic news. Just looked at your new city! I'll check ticket prices and let you know when my flight arrives!

How long till you have a contract etc - when can I crack open a bevie and drink to your health?

Em - Ventured across the road from the waffle house - i'm impressed?!!! We're seriously considering the caravan park although it is quite a bit more expensive and the Finance Manger is quite tight in the spending deprtment...made me eat left over chips for dinner last night!!  Decided not to pursue the potential job offer as salary and type of job (Fundraising) wouldn't have ticked the immigration boxes. Was nice to be asked tho :-)

Donna - thanks for message, hope work is ok and all that. I've heard that hostel film is a bit scary so will try and avoid that!! Last night's sleeping was much better - earplugs did wonders so we have no idea how noisy it was!!

Hi dudes,

Just been out to Loch Fynne for lovely fish pie dinner and lots of wine! Just read your blog (and email re job hope my wise advise was useful!)  Shame the hostel is a bit too yoof-tastic with noisey people. What happenend to the caravan cooking on a camping stove ide? I thought that sounded quite cute! But with it's challenges I suppose... keep the blogs coming dude. I'll email you when I'm not pissed to let you know how the world is spinning on this side of the sun!

Love you dudes

Emma :)

Hey guys

Pictures look absolutely fantastic. Thats great Deb that you have a possible job offer already and in only 2 weeks of being there. Hope this works out for you, can't wait for you next updated blog to find out what happend. Hostel sounds dodgy, people shouting in the early hours and by the sounds of it probably in Japanese so you can't understand what their saying. I can only think of 1 film HOSTEL don't know whether you have seen it or not. Anyway keep up your high spirits and i look forward to the next blog.

Hey dudes

Just read your last blog - the hostel looks fab. Lets hope the kitchen is cleaner than the one in Recoletta! Maybe it even has cutlery! Reading your email I got all excited on your behalf about your adventure. Can I come too - I'm bored with working full time and watching back to back episodes of the West Wing in Blighty! If you get residency over there you should set up a similar guest house/ hostel. Then I can come over and work for you!

Good luck networking at the coffee morning!

Lots of love Emma

Bank Holiday Monday - weather s*** - the sunshine left with my travelling buddies last week! Boo hoo!

Glad to hear you are packed and ready for the off.  Great to see you at Carrow Road after the abysmal first half and so so sorry we missed your message on the tannoy - we had been talking about emailing Carrow Road to say what rubbish the tannoy system is (at least it matches the team most of the time) as us 'oldies' and some of the young'uns can't hear a word.   Have a great flight and we look forward to the next blog.
