Trellis Bay, Virgin Islands

Sunday, 24 May 2009

This is our last blog - I will keep it short! We spent our last two nights in an idyllic anchorage on virgin gorda, away from the crowds as it was tricky navigating in behind the reef. There we had some good snorkelling straight from the boat, a long sandy beach all to ourselves, and plenty of rain water for rinsing from the salt water. We swam and swam, and made a great sandcastle, and were visited again by a huge barracuda.

Now we are anchored in Trellis bay and Jan is on his way to his new boat. We had an Ellen style ceremony this evening and used up the last of our sparklers to wish double helix well in her new life, and to say thank you for all of our safe passages. Our 2 suitcases are full after all (how does that happen??) and tomorrow we will be land lubbers, having a 2 week holiday before arriving at grannys house with alot of dirty washing!

Thank you for reading our blogs - we will keep the website for a while, if you want to contact us and don't have our email address you can still message us via this site.

Bye bye
