Esperance, Western Australia

Esperance, Western Australia

After waking up feeling a bit hazy from the night before we spent the day at Cape Le Grande.

First stop was a t Lucky Bay, gorgeous beach where the colours of the ocean were magnificent and the sand was a bit like milkshake.

The weather was not too hot and the sea was far too cold so Mudoka, Philly and I decided to go on a walk along the beach to its end.

We then walked the nature trail to Thistle cove and had lunch near the waters od Hellfire beach. The first of 2 bbq dinners!!!

After lunch we climbed the peak of Frenchman's peak and after chilling out at the hostel for an hour or so headed to the town lookout to view the beautiful Recherche Archipelago.

After our second bbq dinner it was time to start drinking ad get ready for our big night out on the tour. Saturday night in Esperance meant only one thing Karoke at the local bar.

At about 10pm we walked into town. After a few drinks people got brave to sing First it was Mudoka singing help by the Beatles. Tony , Reg and I sand Daydream believer (this time no aborigines to help as backing dancers). Nat did REM and Simon and Martine did a duet but I could not tell you what the song was.

Andrea, Phil, Jonas, Reg , Nat and I then headed into the local night club. Only because we got away with not paying the 6 dollar entry fee . We then dragged ourselves away at about 2ish.
