Today was an early start as I was starting my 6 day adventure tour around Tassie.

There are 14 others on the tour with me and for the first time most of the group are English. There was Jo and Amy who are travelling RTW together for a year from Hitchin, Lisa also travelling RTW from Essex for a year, Nat travelling RTW from Basingstoke, Jarin a dutch girl who has been in Brisbane studying medicine, Cheryl a wee Scottish lass who works and lives in Adelaide, Fred and Aude who are both studying law in Sydney and are from Switzerland. Pauline a french girl who has been studying in Melbourne. Birgit from Germany, Masuka from Japan, 2 chinese girls and James from New Zealand.

Our guide for the next 6 days was Bruce who is originally from Sydney. Great cook and host!!

Our first 3 days of the tour was to take us to the west coast of Tassie and our first stop on the tour was to Mount Field National Park.

Here we took the top tree walk to Russell Falls. We then headed to Lake St Clair on way to the historic mining town of Strahan where we were to stop for the night in our own house!!!

I found out that by accident I had paid not to go in dorms but to have a twin room so for the next 6 days I was to have a room to myself - luxury!!!!!
