So the last couple of days of my trip were spent bumming around in Rio and savouring my final few acai's (slush puppie type drink made with the very purple Amazonian acai berry). Of course having spent 5 weeks here in January there was very little sightseeing to do so I was really just killing time watching the Euro 2008 quarter finals on the tele and buying a few presents.... and then on my penultimate day my south american experience was complete. I got robbed by a bunch on unruly youths in whilst walking down a very busy road in broad daylight in Copacabana. I hope they spent my money on soap as they didn't smell too good.
I've put a last batch of photos on the blog.
THE END
