Hi everyone,
we have just got back to mainland after 10days on the islands in fiji. we have had such a wkd time, we love fiji, its amazing. we managed 2 get 10 islands done in 10 days so we had 2 move every day. we went snorkelling with manta rays the other day, we saw 1 that was 6ft! it was huge. the reefs here are soooo good, lots of nemo's and purple starfish and the water is so clear and warm! one night we went snorkelling and it was pitch black- we went with a guide and he took us spear fishing 2! he speared a fish then killed it by biting its head till it died which was pretty gross, then hooked a piece of string through its mouth and then gave it 2 me 2 hold!!!!! the guts and stuff were goin everywhere!!! then cos i was holding shark bait, we were just swimming along looking for fish 2 spear, its quite hard 2 c cos we only had 2 torches and u can basically only c where the thin light of the torch shines, then a shark swam below us!!!!!! that was it me and sam were out of there as fast as we could, we had 2 swim 200metres bac 2 shore- did it in bout 30 seconds- never swam so fast! we were so scared! the guide said it was only 1metre long but it looked huge!! still a shark!!! it was quite cool 2 c tho!
one island we went on they had really cheap jet skies 2 rent so we got on this sketchy thing tht was only meant 4 1 person and it was so unstable we were all over the place- the whole time sam wouldnt let me drive cos he said i would make us fall off then he hooned it round in a circle and we both went flying and the jet ski carried on goin 4 bout 10 metres and we were so far out we both were fighting 2 get bac on tht thing- they hav tiger, bull and mako sharks in fiji!!!
 we went on this cave trip where you jump into this pool of water and the guide takes u 2 the rock walls and basically just says- 'we r goin in there'. theres was nothin there just a wall then the guy just went under the water and dissapeared! we had 2 swim under water and through this tunnel thing only 4 bout 3 or 4 seconds then the guy pulls u up the other side and ur in a cave it was so cool!!!!! pitch black in there it was wkd 2 do!
we also stayed on the island where they filmed the first series of celebrity love island wiith rebecca loos and fran cosgrave. the resort is basically the same but they hav added a few things on. the love shack is totally derelict now and its got peoples names graffitted on it everywhere so we added ours 2 it 2!!!
so apart from being scared of sharks everytime we went in the water we have also relaxed in lots of hammocks and drunk out of lots of coconuts! we hav had a wkd time!
