Byron Bay, Australian Capital Territory

Hi everyone. hope u r all well, havin a wicked time out here, we are in byron bay at the moment, proper hippy town, its cool tho, just got here yesterday so we havent really seen much yet, but are stayin here till saturday so have got plenty of time 2 explore. anyway when we were in noosa we had a surf lesson, it was soooo fun, really tiring tryin 2 get out past the waves but awsome when you stand up, we both managed to get up quite a few times. we then went 2 the steve irwin zoo which was really good, saw the croc shows and stuff, easily the best zoo you'd see. after noosa we went 2 brisbane which we both really liked. we met up with some girls we met in africa and they took us 2 a mountain where you can see the whole city at night which was really cool. the next day we went round one of their houses for a proper aussie style bbq, they bought shrimps so sam could say he 'put another shrimp on the barbie' even tho they said that aussies never put shrimps on the bbq so dunno where that sayin came from. that night we went 2 the suncorp staduium to watch a game of rugby, i didnt really know what was goin on but still had a laugh!!

we then went 2 surfers paradise, the best place so far! just a really cool buzzing town. we met up with ollie and spent the time there with him, we went 2 the wet and wild the water park which was really fun then went on a club crawl in the evening.

the next day we went 2 a pancake place where they had all you can eat pancakes, i did rubbish only managed 2, sam and ollie were battling it out tryin 2 reach the record which was 24 but both failed miserably and ended up feelin very sick!!

we got 2 byron yesterday and stayed in the same hostel as ross, michael and ollie, had a trivia night last nite, me and sam were with these sweedish ppl and we were so rubbish we lost, but cos we came last out of bout 12 teams we actually won 2 4 1 cinema tickets so we r gonna go there some night.

anyway thats pretty much it 4 now, we will try load some more pics on soon.

xxxx
