A lot of days to catch up on...not a lot of activity, however, we are definitely settled in. Ok, monday june 4th. I got up and walked to school and did a little homework. I went to the API office but then got frustrated with the computers so i walked home and then to the gastronomia around the corner for some food...bought some pesto, tortellini, and a little peccorino...so delicious. i made a snack then waited for Jane. When she got home we went to Standa and got A LOT of food and cooked chicken and pasta. Marissa came over later which we were watching tv and i ended up hanging out with her and meg for a bit. Ok tuesday the 5th. I woke up and didnt feel very well and did A LOT of laundry...well two loads which is all the clothes i brought! Each load minus the spin cycle takes about an hour and a half and dont have a dryer....so laundry is an event. at like 5 pm or so i went to the internet and got to talk to a few friends. JUST remembered something about sunday night...after we recovered from our train ride, me anita and jane went to get gelato and walked back through Piazza della Signoria as an orchestra concert was beginning. they played movie theme songs...it was really nice to hear music in the open air like that.....anyway, the rest of tuesday was just a lazy day. i went with jane so she could buy some stuff at Motivi and to a bookstore and looked around. The 6th: i got up and went to class then called and woke up mom then had not your normal walk home....as i was walking through the Duomo area a PIGEON (confused of course) flies up and hits me in the side of the head, but of course i couldnt react because i was by myself and walking really fast....then...as im walking down the creepy vendor street by santa croce, fanta in hand, i get these two cat calls...which is normal here..."oh fanta...florida...somthing" and "....wow...shakira" what?! i dont look like im from florida at all....AND definitely not shakira...who is DEFINITELY not from the U.S. she barely speaks english i think....they need to get more creative. For dinner we went and got a burger downstairs at the red garter...it had been a long day...with suzanna and kristina and jane, and Francesco of course gave us a huge discount..he loves us
