Kyoto, Japan

Saturday, 20 September 2008

Last day in Kyoto today just about to head to the train station to catch the Shinkansen(bullet train) to Hiroshima. Yesterday we visited a costume museum and the textile centre. We got to try on some Kimonos which made claire mucho happy. Lunch was Japanese Mcdonalds and it was good. Claire got to have yummy cake so was very happy. Tried some sweet Sake last night, it would put hairs on your chest! The beer was much better.

Kyoto has soooooooooooo many temple that we just gave up and only saw a few. We did spot Geishas. The hostel- K's House is great and i would recommend it to anyone.

Hopefully get internet in Hiroshima and upload many more pictures.
